Welcome to Abba’s Refuge & Ministry (A.R.M.) Thank you for your interest in Abba’s Refuge & Ministry. Our desire is to provide a safe, Christ-centered home where women can find hope, healing, stability, and encouragement as they work toward a brighter future.

Please read the following information before submitting an application.

Who We Serve

A.R.M. provides temporary housing for adult women(18years of age or older) At this time, we are not able to provide housing for children or pets. Applicants who have children or pets are welcome to apply if their children have alternate living arrangements during the applicant’s stay.

Our Mission

Our mission is to walk alongside women who are seeking a fresh start by providing a safe home, practical support, biblical encouragement, accountability, and opportunities for personal growth.

What We Provide

Depending on availability and individual needs, residents may receive:

Safe housing

Basic necessities

Spiritual support and Bible studies

Life skills training

Employment assistance

Educational encouragement

Mentorship and accountability

Expectations of Residents

Residents are expected to:

Treat everyone with kindness and respect.

Maintain a clean living environment.

Participate in household chores.

Attend required meetings, Bible studies, or house activities.

Actively pursue employment, education, or another approved program if physically able.

Follow ALL house rules.

Zero-Tolerance Policies

To ensure the safety of everyone in the home, the following are not permitted:

Illegal drug use or possession

Criminal activity

Violence or threats of violence

Sexual activity while residing at the ministry

Possession of weapons

Theft or intentional destruction of property

Violation of these policies may result in immediate dismissal from the program.

Financial Expectations

Residents who become employed while living at A.R.M. may be asked to contribute a portion of their income toward the ministry according to the Resident Agreement. These funds help cover housing expenses and encourage financial responsibility.

Christian Environment

A.R.M. is a Christian ministry; while applicants are not required to already be Christian, all residents must be willing to:

Respect Christian beliefs and values.

Participate in Bible studies and devotional times.

Live according to the house guidelines during their stay.

Application Process

Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance. Applications are reviewed prayerfully and individually. An interview and reference checks may be required before admission.

We Understand

We recognize that asking for help can be difficult. Whether or not A.R.M. is the right fit, we are praying that God will lead you to the support and resources you need. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

Who May Not Be a Good Fit For Right Now

Individuals actively using drugs or alcohol who are unwilling to seek help.

Individuals who are violent or pose a safety risk to others.

Individuals unwilling to follow house rules.

Individuals requiring a level of medical or psychiatric care that A.R.M. is not equipped to provide.
